Features and Benefits
Ultra-high-performance tires are engineered to offer sporty handling, faster braking and acceleration, and exceptional steering response. These tires are typically used in warmer weather conditions and have a wider footprint and low profile. While the Leao Lion Sport 3 has the capabilities of an ultra-high-performance tire, it is also optimized for year-round use in dry, wet, and light wintry conditions. Let’s take a look at the key features and benefits of the Leao Lion Sport 3:
- Solid handling performance – The Lion Sport 3 is built to offer solid handling performance and it sports an advanced asymmetric tread design that boosts handling performance in dry and wet conditions.
- Better year-round traction and grip – The tire features an all-season tread compound and a new-gen tread pattern that offers better year-round traction and grip in dry, wet, and light wintry conditions. The tread sports dense siping that improves traction in dry and wet conditions. The four circumferential grooves on the tread remove water and slush to avoid the risk of hydroplaning. Additionally, the silica-rich rubber compound maintains consistent contact with the surface to provide better grip and traction.
- Long-lasting tread life – The flat contact patch and the computer-tuned tread design distribute driving pressure across the grip to prevent uneven wear. Moreover, the durable silica-based rubber compound and reinforced inner construction prevent the tire from premature wear.
- Enhanced ride comforts – The tire also offers raised comforts as it features an innovative tread design and advanced rubber compound that absorbs the road vibrations to offer pleasant rides. Moreover, the tread elements are placed to control the noise generated from the tread when the tire is rolling.
The Leao Lion Sport 3 is offered in 16- to 30-inch rim sizes, which means it is compatible with a wide variety of sedans and coupes on the market. Here are some of the popular tire sizes of the Lion Sport 3:

Had it balanced 3 times since this installation. The last time I had it done with alignment at the official dealership, Mercedes Benz of Beverly Hills. As per certified mechanic's notes - balancing was done yet challenging due to amount of weights needed to be added to the rims to zero out. On my question whether there was a possibility damages to my rims and/or due to wear and tear of my brake disks - his answer was solely it was due to the quality of tires themselves. Once thing I am happy with that I can have them rotated each time when steering wheel vibration will became intolerable and annoying and balancing will be inevitable. 275/40R18s
Since the purchase performed balancing 3 times.
Had to balance 3 times already since the purchase due to steering wheel vibration/shaking at certain mph. The very last time I had it done along with 4-wheel alignment at official dealership, Mercedes Benz of Beverly Hills. Report given was 'lots of weight was used to get it balanced. Shaking will be still present due to quality of tires.' On my question - 'Could it be possible that my rims and/or brake rotors bad or slightly damaged, worn and/or possibly bent?' - the MB Certified mechanic replied and stated in his report that the condition of my rims and rotors did not correspond to vibration in my steering column, yet only due to the quality of tires themselves.
