Tires are amazing, but if you're in Oregon just have the tires shipped to your house and use anyone other than firestone their service is horrible
Bought 4 Pirelli Scorpion Verde tires based on recommendation from a mechanic and their warranty. Was told they should last ~65k miles. Had them rotated every ~5k miles and alignment checked. After 37k miles, they were worn down to 1/32", 3/32", and 2 tires at 5/32". I can buy some things are part of a bad batch. I can also buy that 65-70k is top-end. But the fact that I didn't even make it to 40k? And Pirelli would NOT even stand behind their guarantee. I was offered 50% off 1 tire (for the one at 1/32"). Nothing for the other 3, even though they needed to be replaced as well. Pirelli has lost a customer...to me, there is no reason to pay the extra money for these tires and additional rotations, etc if the company won't stand behind their product if/when they do produce a bad batch. For those Tommy Boy fans...I feel like Pirelli " took a crap in a box, mark led it guaranteed, and I bought it." Only to find out they only sold me a guaranteed piece of crap. I'm going back to my Michelin tires. At least they have treated me right in the past.
